An old couple, Michael and Phyllis Thoms have placed their own home on auction for $1.00!
After the Quakes in Christchurch they thought they could move to the UK to their family after four of their closest family members died.
They want to sell it to raise $$$ for those in need in Christchurch because they worked in a youth centre and helped others in their younger years.

Hi Melelose. Where would the old couple go when they sell their house? Even a kid could buy it. If I was in Christchurch I'll like to buy it so I don't have to keep listening to my niece screaming!
